How many of you can relate to Mike’s favorite movie line… “Got a little knot here, Russ.”? Just like Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation didn’t let a little “knot” get in the way of lighting his house for the Holidays, Mike has worked through every “knot” that his come his way in building this customer first business. He has utilized his personal traits of integrity, honesty, quality, service, and kindness to create a business foundation that allows homeowners and contractors alike to turn a house into a home. Mike is the friendly face with all the answers at the office, but that isn’t necessarily his favorite place to be. If he could choose, he would be at Bear Lake every day! He loves spending time with family and his happiest times are when he can be with his family at the lake. He even learned his tremendous work ethic from his first job working at a boat marina at Bear Lake when he was a teenager. Mike has vast industry knowledge and customer care, but it’s his personal touch that customers and employees appreciate most about being part of Foresight Lighting and Design.

Bringing a dynamic business background to the company, Ryan has worked to bring cohesiveness to sales and operations for over 20 years. Having worked for all sizes of companies in many different capacities, we are excited to have Ryan working to grow our business and service more customers. Being part of the family business is so exciting for Ryan and he desires to have the business be a means by which his family can grow closer together. So, whether they are working hard, playing hard, or cuddled up on the couch watching the latest episode of America’s Got Talent, being with family is a favorite! Ryan truly believes that nothing needs to be mundane, ordinary, or monotonous. This world has way too much to offer each of us. We simply need to recognize the opportunities that we have and to choose to view life through the lenses of optimism and opportunity.

If you really want to know who keeps the business running and who keeps it all together, look no further. Michelle does it all! She has worked with her Dad (Mike), on and off, since she was in High School. She knows the industry, the business, and has a special eye for design and creativity that keeps our business on the cutting edge. She is a dedicated and loving mother to her 3 kids and she is even getting to the point of including the dog as member of the family. Michelle loves her sleep just about as much as anything and we can all tell when she’s had a good night’s rest… she just goes and goes and goes all day long. She is a great example to the team of what hard work looks like and she sets the bar for the rest of us. Although she may describe her job as “herding cats”, she would never let you know she feels that way. She has an incredible sense of humor and will keep you laughing as you work with her. She’s the best!
